Event Details

This workshop addresses the power of company culture in relation to attracting and retaining diverse customers, partners, suppliers, and staff.

We will look inside and identify existing company culture, its role in supporting diversity and inclusion efforts, and disrupting biases. Participants will learn how attitudes, inner biases, and personal backgrounds work together to shape a company’s culture. In understanding what an organization’s culture is, we can learn how to start disrupting biases and instead create an environment where a diverse workforce can cohesively move the company forward.

This is a highly interactive workshop. Through scenarios, sharing, and examples, participants will gain the skills and tools needed to challenge themselves and others to advocate for diversity, inclusivity, and equity with courageous conversations, and by disrupting biases.

Workshop includes 30-45 minutes of presentation and exercises, and 60-75 minutes of facilitated and guided conversations using different approaches, including practicing and sharing the challenges and successful tools acquired for disrupting biases.
